Pupil Premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

For the academic year 2016/2017 the school was allocated £15,300 Pupil Premium Funding. We used this funding to employ a life coach to deliver PHSE interventions to pupils 1:1 and in small groups to develop social skills. We also used funding to further support pupils in the transition between our PRU and their mainstream school.
For the academic year 2017/2018 we expect to receive at least £14,600 Pupil Premium Funding, we plan to use this money to further develop our home school links supporting parent / carers' capacity to support learning especially focussing on mathematics.
